After several years with this fabulous costume in mind, this year I finally dressed up as a

UW vs. Utah

I have been waiting for this day since my Freshman year.  Last year UW and Utah played, but I was abroad, so I missed the game, but luckily we had one more chance to play each other before I graduated!  And UW won :D  Dad got tickets for him, Mom, Marty, and me and we all cheered loud for the Huskies together!

Shlyn talked a lot of trash before the game and I just shook my head knowing pretty soon we'd be bringing the Purple Reign.

October Happenings

Don't worry, I'm still keeping in touch with these lovely ladies I met in Bristol :D Hopefully I can get out to see them this summer.

Shlyn and I tried a "no treats bet."  My Seattle friends were not happy with me, but at least they supported me by not giving me cookies.

Anyone a How I Met Your Mother fan?  We've got some big fans over at the Bat House and therefore made the classic Intervention banner.  Oooh we are going to have some fun with this.

Lax practices back in full swing.  We motivate each other by posting photos in our Facebook group of practicing outside of practice haha.

M83 Concert with Jordan, Nate, and David.  It seriously was an existential experience.  Great concert.

Autzen

Carine and I drove down to Eugene Friday night, stayed with her roommate's sister who goes to U of O, woke up and ran around campus (gotta keep up those Saturday runs), headed to the game, watched UW FINALLY beat Oregon for the first time in 12 years, and drove home.

They say it never rains in Autzen Stadium, but Purple Reigned tonight.

Elder Shaeffer, you are hereby called to serve...

...in the Fukuoka, Japan mission!!  Congrats, Marty!  Thankful for FaceTime so I could "be there" as he opened his call.  He is very excited and leaves January 18 :)
Dad's reaction was the cutest... I tried to screenshot it, but alas, was not quick enough.  He jumped out of his chair punching both fists in the air while cheering.  He was just so excited for his son.
