It's good to be back in the Dawg Pack

So the only bummer about the quarter system is that football season starts before school starts, so we missed the first three home games.  But we were pumped to be back and in the Dawg Pack!  The front row of the Dawg Pack to be exact.  They even gave me John Ross's face.  Pretty fun stuff.
Oh hello, Dubs, the most famous dog on campus...or in all of Seattle. <3

Sophomore Year

Well guys, I am officially a Sophomore.  And I am pumped.  I love my roommate (and honorary roommate...eh hem, Emma), I love my apartment, and Seattle is as beautiful as ever.  I was admitted into the Mechanical Engineering major last summer, but now I have finished pretty much all of my generals and can start taking the fun engineering classes :D  This quarter those classes include: Linear Algebra, Engineering Mechanics: Statics, Technical Writing, and Electrical Engineering, all of which I am certain will be difficult, yet fascinating (except for technical writing...I think only time can tell with that one).  Extracurriculars have started up again right away.  Tabling for lacrosse started yesterday with our first practice happening Monday.  This afternoon was our first UW Student Life meeting of the year.  Tonight was the Institute's Undergraduate dinner followed by Committee meeting early tomorrow morning.  And to top it off, Saturday morning I attend the first UW Robotics Club meeting of the year -- yes, that's right, I am joining Robotics Club (feel free to be jealous).  It's going to be a good year.
Utah, I miss you.  Everyone in Utah, I miss you.  But I will see you in a few short weeks. xoxo
Meet my lovely roommate, Sara. :D

Summer Paradise

Summer 2014 from Courtney Shaeffer on Vimeo.

I think we can all agree, it was pretty much the perfect summer.
And I'm going to leave it at that, because after all... they say a picture is worth one thousand words, right?
