Our basketball team had a great season this year!  Today was their last game.  We got to miss school to drive out and support them--the senior's last time ever in the student section, which is bittersweet.  Although they lost, it was still fun driving out all together and cheering on our team!

For Young Women's tonight, we went to the rest home and painted the ladies nails.  They were so sweet!

Nicholas has been working for weeks to perfect his Pinewood Derby car in anticipation of today.  Unfortunately, he didn't win any of the races :(  But he was a great sport!

Last week, Kay was in a serious car accident and broke three vertebrae in her back, fractured her eye socket, and got a severe concussion.  She just got out of ICU over the weekend, so Mom and I decided to take a mini road trip to visit her today :)  I loved spending time with her just talking and looking through pictures.  She has a hard time remembering short term right now, but she had no problem remembering all of our fun trips and plans for the future (traveling to Chicago, living in New York City...the list goes on.) She is still her beautiful, smiling, fun self, even through all that has happened!  I love you, Kay!!!

For the long weekend, my family is staying in a ski-in-ski-out condo.  We have never stayed in one before and it is soo nice and so much fun!  Taylor came up to ski and stay for the night...we had tons of fun skiing, hot tubbing, spending 45 minutes trying to find parking, finally parking and getting ice cream, and watching clips from The Ellen Show.

Sweethearts' Dance was tonight.  I took Zach and we had so much fun!  It's tradition to go to the basketball game right before the dance and this year we happened to be playing our rival team...we won AGAIN! After the dance, our group went rock climbing, which was very tiring, but lots of fun!  I think I want to start rock climbing more often now.

Sweethearts' is a t-shirt dance, so each group designs and makes their own
t-shirts!  Ours were the classic PE "Property of" shirts, but instead of a size,
they said "xoxo" and instead of a school, they said our dates' names.

Parker got his mission call today!!  He is going to Fresno, California, Hmong speaking!  It's so crazy that my friends are all starting to get their calls and leaving this summer.  Before it's always been the "older and cooler kids" leaving on missions and now we are those kids!  And with the recent age change, it's even crazier because everyone is going to be leaving right away!

Skiing today was so much fun!  Zach and I went up and spent all day trying to find the good powder that hadn't been tracked out yet.  It was quite the struggle at times when we didn't know exactly where we were or what was ahead of us...but it was a fun adventure!

I've been up almost twice as much as all of last year!  I know
14 days isn't a lot for some people, but I'm pretty proud of it!

Zach's hair froze.  Haha, he got pretty scared when I told him that it
would all break off because that happened to Ruby's friend once.

Well, since Stephen can't go to the dance and since Sweethearts' is a week from today, I decided I better hurry and find another date!

"I hope I'm not 'TOILET' (too late)... but it would be a 'CHARMIN' time to go to Sweethearts' with you!"

We toilet papered Zach's house and left a roll on the poster that had my name folded up and stuck inside it, so he would have to unroll the entire thing to find out who asked him!

I got answered to the dance today...unfortunately Stephen can't go because he is going to be out of town :(  He did leave me a sweet note, lemon drops, and lemonade though, which I loved!

Tonight, I went night skiing for the first time ever!  It was very fun, but oh sooo freezing.

FIS World Cup!  Today were the aerial competitions and were soo cool to watch the top 8 skiers in the world!

He was super excited to take a picture with me...
