Sometimes in the mornings Nicholas sees the light on in my room and comes to hang out.  I love it :)  Today he found my Gumby and Pokey toys and was playing with them.

Whitney and I made a mouse trap car for our history class today.  After about six straight hours of working we were thrilled to finally see it run!  We took it out to the street, my brothers and their friends all came out to watch, we set up the trap, we set off the trap, aaaaand the car did absolutely nothing.  Woo hoo.  So back inside for about another hour and we finally fixed it to run!  It certainly won't win the speed award, or the design award, and probably not the distance award, but hey, at least we'll get an A.

After a long day of car building, I asked to the upcoming dance!  Along with this cheesy (no pun intended) poster, I left on his porch string cheese, pop rocks, and Valentine's socks (two of which had my name written on the inside.)  Kristy and I had quite an adventure finding the house - we probably drove up and down the street at least 10 times trying to decide which one it was - and then as we drove by to make sure he got it, he was outside.  I don't think there's ever been a time when Kristy and I asked together and didn't get caught!

Morp was today!  Carly and I just went stag (without dates) and had so much fun!

The theme was rockstars - half the fun of the dance was dressing up!

Great minds think alike.

It has been unbelievably warm for the month of January, and although the lack of snow has made some of us somewhat sad, we took the opportunity to play soccer, kick ball, tag, and just hang out outside before it snows again.

One of the stupidest ways to hurt your knee: running into a trailer hitch while walking to your car.

But there's nothing like ice cream to make it feel better :)

Ruby and I were in our Stake Youth Choir for the fireside tonight.  The speaker at the fireside was the woman who began the "I am a mormon" campaigns and she gave a really good talk!  Just as our stake president said, "Go to mormon.org.  I bet you can't watch just one."

I woke up this morning and was thrilled to finally see snow on the ground!

Skiing + sledding + skouching + snow angeling = a great day.

Believe it or not, one run we fit 12 people on the skouch (a couch with skis on the bottom.)
